The most worn item a baby wears, is of course the onesie. It keeps them warm, easy for parents to put on, and it goes with just about everything. Organic onesies are the best onesies to buy for your bundle of joy. No chemicals such as
formaldehyde, caustic soda, sulfuric acid, bromines, and urea resins just to name a few. Just pure organic cotton on your perfect little baby. After all, your baby’s skin is very sensitive and you don’t want any reactions to happen on that beautiful new skin. As parents, we have to educate ourselves, and not just listen to other peoples opinions. Please, research and come up with your own answers as to what is best for your baby. Organic onesies are more affordable than one would think.

When shopping for baby clothes why not consider doing the ethical thing for all involved and go organic. Many of us have made the move to organic foods but the effort can be extended to the clothing we buy. When you consider that this material will be touching your baby’s skin, the benefits are numerous.

Would you spray pesticides on your baby? Of course not but the cotton that most baby clothing is made from is heavily sprayed. Less that 3% of the world’s farmland is devoted to growing cotton but over 25% of the world’s pesticide use is specifically for maintaining cotton. Organic baby clothing uses none of these chemical pesticides making them a far safer option for your child and for the planet.

A more practical reason to consider organic baby clothing is the fiber. Organic cotton produces longer fibers that conventional cotton. This means that it will last longer and be far more durable than its non-organic counterparts. Longer lasting clothing means less money spent.

Finally consider the safety of your baby. Baby’s skin is far thinner and more porous that that of an adult. Impurities can pass through their skin far quicker and easier than someone who is older. Organic cotton and organic baby clothing is free of impurities keeping you baby safe and healthy.

Organic baby clothing may seem like taking the ecological theme a bit far. However with all the health and safety advantages attached why not consider purchasing some organic clothing for your baby.

Organic doesn’t just apply to the things that we eat. To be truly organic we need to consider the clothing that we wear. As with eating organic foods, wearing organic clothing can provide numerous advantages. Most of us are aware of the fact that organic implies that nothing chemical is used. However, there are other more practical reasons that make it worth your while to purchase organic toddlers clothing and organic kid’s apparel.

When it comes to cotton, the organic version is far stronger than the non-organic type. The fibers grow longer enhancing its durability. This strength is then transferred to the fabric. Anyone who has children knows how hard they can be on clothing and how quickly they can wear it out. With organic fabric being stronger the wear will be less, meaning fewer trips to the clothing store to replace things.

Organic toddlers clothing is also far healthier. Sometimes children develop allergies during their lives. Organic fabrics are highly recommended for certain skin types. They are lightweight and highly breathable making it possible for several skin allergy sufferers to wear them. Your dermatologist should be consulted but the chances are good that organic fabrics could hold the answer to comfortable living with regard to skin allergies and irritations.

These are just a few of the reasons one might want to consider purchasing organic kids clothing and apparel. They look great, feel great and will keep your children and the planet happy and healthy

Many of us now realize the numerous benefits in buying organic clothing. Organic shirts for both women and men are readily available but some still struggle to find where they are sold. In this article we will help you locate some of the best places for organic cotton T- shirts as well as offer some tips on what to look for when buying them.

Unfortunately organic shirts are going to cost us a little bit more. The same seems to hold true with anything organic. However, keep an eye on the sales in your regular retail outlets and specialty shops that carry organic cotton T- shirts. The chances are good that you can pick some up for less money than you would a conventional shirt.

Organic shirts for both men and women are starting to become more popular. However, the places that carry a regular supply still seem to be our online merchants and specialty shops. Health food stores are good places to make inquiries and possibly may be able to point you in the right direction. Even if the major chains lose to you don’t carry them, keep asking them. The more customers that ask the greater likelihood that they will start selling them in the future.

Women’s organic cotton T- shirts and men’s organic cotton T- shirts are slowly but surely becoming more popular. Keep searching and asking, soon they’ll be in a store near you.

Babies are beautiful but unknown to them they do their own damage to the environment. With clothes, food and waste they certainly leave their impact on the Earth. In this article we will offer advice on how to make your baby more eco friendly. You and your baby will benefit as well as the planet.

Try to buy organic baby clothing. A large amount of baby clothing is made from cotton which uses more hazardous pesticides than anything else. Organic baby clothing is soft yet durable and provides numerous health benefits for your baby. It also reduces the amount of chemicals being used and stress on the land.

There are excellent choices in organic foods available for your baby. Once again the food is natural using no pesticides or un-natural colors. They taste great and are a far healthier option for your child to be eating.

Look into Organic bedding. Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to treat your baby’s organic clothing and bedding with chemicals to resist fire. Wool does the same job and resists bacteria. Consider wool as an option to keep your baby warm and healthy.

Finally, what do all baby’s do, poop? Look into organic diapers. They are cooler and far more comfortable than cloth or conventional brands. The beauty of them is they can go straight into the organic waste bin to break down naturally.

By following these tips your can assure your child is an eco friendly baby and not a baby biohazard.

As a new mom, I am learning things as I go along. My baby, well, now she’s more like a toddler, is a great eater. She eats fruit and veggies everyday, as well as some complex carbs, and lean proteins. I believe she’s a great eater because she eats a balanced diet. I do find though when she gets “snacks” like crackers once in awhile, she tends to want the whole box. Which does not happen. So overall, she isn’t much of a junk food eater. It’s not available to her, so she doesn’t know any better. My husband would say out daughter isn’t much of a picky eater, but I bet if you asked him who is in our family, he would pick me. I would agree to a point with that opinion. To me, it is highly important what goes into our bodies, especially with the concern of GMI’s out there. If you are not aware of the GMI’s are, they are genetically modified ingredients. In other words, man altered ingredients, including your fruits, veggies, grains and all other foods. When I we start to think of it, and what actually it does to our food, and how my body would be able to process this, I just cannot justify it. And so, the picky eater in this family is me. We got married, it was a priority that I feed my husband the best food possible, natural, wholesome, and nutrient rich. When we found out I was expecting, it got even more serious. The best thing I can do for my family is be the picky eater, then teach our children why we eat the way we do. With education, our children will hopefully be picky eaters as adults. Not the thing most mom’s would want for their children. But when I’m not the one supplying her with her daily food, and it’s her turn, picky is the way I want her to be. Wholesome, delicious, food. In this day and age, one needs to be picky.

It’s the beginning of January, and all of December we had great, mild weather. Once it hit January though, it’s been so cold that my bones hurt when I go outside. Where I live, it’s always a nice 70 degrees during the winter months, and if we were to have a cold snap, it would be for a day or two. So far, this cold snap has lasted over a week, and I don’t mean it’s in the 60’s, it’s been in the 20’s! Unheard of for our area of the world. I have sweaters, and long sleeve shirts, but a coat, never liked them. Even when I lived up north, I never liked wearing one, but I had to up there.

Snow, now that is something I do not miss from living up north, and it was the only reason I wore a coat. But, wouldn’t you know it, they are saying we are getting snow in the next two days! It won’t stick around for long, but really?! Snow?! I’m going to have to buy some gloves if this keeps going on. A nice long vacation to the islands sound good to me right now. Bring out the sandels again, which I used to wear throughout the winter here at home. Once this weather does get back to normal for this area, I plan on going to the beach. If anything, this is making me appreciate what I do have down here. The opportunity to wear sandels when I want, shorts and a nice sweater, and not take it for granted. Oh winter weather, it’s a nice change from the heat, and it’s great for relaxing at home. There are some great things about it, and I will have to learn all about them. That is, with my layers on, and sneakers.
